"Your Community, Your Say" is not merely the name of a town-hall series. It is my rule for representing you. Before any major vote, I will publish the relevant facts, costs, alternatives, and uncertainties in plain language. Then I will identify and actively seek the farmers, homeowners, workers, businesses, and families who will bear the consequences. Opening a microphone is not enough.

When constituents give a clear answer, that answer will govern my vote. When the community is divided, I will publish what I heard, explain my decision, and remain accountable for it. Public silence is not support, opposition, or informed consent. I will publish every consequential vote with my reasoning and hold town halls in every county, every year.

I learned this through the Mid-States Corridor. I knew about the project, but I began digging deeply when I learned my own home was in its path. That personal wake-up call showed me how many affected families had never been meaningfully brought into the decision. I commissioned professional polls, chaired the organizing effort behind ten corridor town halls, and brought the results to public officials. Changing that process is why I am running.
